School has always had potential.

LJ Campus is our attempt to unlock it.

the mission

Our mission is to reimagine school where every student is the architect of their own learning, building real skills through work that is relevant, purposeful, and connected to the world they live in.

Currently serving students ages 6-10.

the story

LJ Campus was built on one belief: learning works best when it's real. We saw it firsthand, kids doing actual projects, solving real problems, growing in ways a traditional classroom never reached. So we shared that online and parents saw it too. That response built the foundation for LJC. Today, it's a physical space where students explore, create, and learn by doing.

the educator

My path to LJ Campus started in the classroom. I earned my bachelor's and master's from UC San Diego, taught as a classroom teacher, and completed my doctorate in Educational Leadership at UCSD while homeschooling my own kids during the pandemic. My dissertation, Technology Integration in a Design Thinking School, became the blueprint for LJC. It examined how learning environments must evolve alongside the world students are entering, from how students use technology to the projects they take on. Students don't just learn best when learning feels real. They thrive when it feels relevant.

School is overdue for a redesign.
